What do I actually get?
An unlock link in your order email that opens the app on your phone. Tap it, add it to your home screen, and you're cooking — under a minute. It works on up to 3 of your devices, and every plan includes the full app, all 9 books, and the Ask assistant.
What's the catch with the $1?
There isn't one, but here's the whole deal so nothing surprises you: $1 gets you the full membership for 30 days. Your card is saved at checkout and charged $4.99 on day 30, and every month after, until you cancel. Cancelling is two taps on your account page, no email, and the app keeps working to the end of the month you paid for. One $1 month per customer. And the 30-day money back still applies on top.
Is this a subscription?
Monthly and Yearly are — they renew until you cancel, and you cancel yourself from your account page in two taps, no emails. Lifetime isn't: one payment, nothing on file, nothing renews. Whichever you pick, you get the same app and the same updates; the subscription just lets you try it for $1 instead of committing up front.
What happens if I cancel?
The app keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, then it shows a Renew screen. Your favorites, your log and your settings stay on your phone, so if you come back a month later everything is where you left it.
280 recipes but 340 ways to cook — what's the difference?
280 is the number of recipe cards. 60 of them carry a second complete version you switch to at the top of the card — 10 grill recipes have a Direct heat version alongside two-zone, and 50 oven and stovetop recipes have an Air fryer version. Each one has its own temperature, time, steps, pull temp and timers; it isn't a footnote. 280 + 60 = 340. We count them separately so nobody buys expecting 340 cards.
I cook with an air fryer. Does this work for me?
Yes. 50 oven and stovetop recipes have an Air fryer button that swaps in its own temperature, time, steps and timers for the basket — wings, thighs, drumsticks, chops, tenderloins, meatballs, bacon, salmon, cod, pork belly, even a whole chicken — plus two written for the air fryer from the start. 52 in all. The big roasts and braises that won't fit a basket tell you so in one line instead of pretending.
My son just wants to grill chicken thighs out of the package. Is that in here?
Yes — 70 recipes are nothing but the meat, salt, black pepper and heat: bone-in thighs, drumsticks, wings, breast, sirloin and strip, burgers, pork tenderloin, lamb chops, salmon and more. Tap Just salt & pepper at the top of any tab and that's all you see. The fancy versions are there when you want them.
Does it show vitamins and minerals, or just macros?
Both. Calories, protein, fat and net carbs are on every card. Tap Vitamins & minerals and you get 18 more for that portion with % Daily Value — B12, B6, niacin, riboflavin, thiamin, B5, folate, choline, vitamin D, vitamin A, zinc, iron, selenium, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, copper and calcium. The numbers come from the USDA food database for that exact cut as cooked, and the sheet tells you which USDA entry it used. It's a guide, not a lab test.
Grill, smoker, oven or stovetop?
All of them, and every recipe says which. 67 grill recipes (steaks and chops switch between direct heat and two-zone), 19 smoker, 10 griddle, 88 oven and broiler, 97 stovetop, 5 slow cooker. The temperature, the time and the pull temp are on the card before you tap anything.
What does the Ask assistant do?
You type what's actually happening — "smoker went out for 40 minutes, brisket at 150," "how long from frozen," "why no bark" — and it answers with numbers, using the USDA food-safety rules and all 280 recipes. Cooking only; it won't give medical advice. It needs a signal and has a daily question limit, which is what keeps it included with every plan instead of costing extra.
Do I need to download anything from an app store?
No. It's a web app that installs to your home screen directly from your browser — Apple and Google both support this natively. No app store, no account to create, no permissions, and the app itself doesn't track you.
I'm keto, not strict carnivore. Is this for me?
Yes. Every recipe is carnivore-compatible, which means it's also strict keto. The BBQ sauces and desserts use a zero-sugar sweetener instead of sugar, and every recipe shows net carbs so you can decide.
Will it dry out my meat?
That's the whole point of it. Every recipe has a pull temperature, a rest, and a "Don't screw it up" line — the one thing that ruins that cut and how not to do it. Hand-set timers count each stage for you.
What devices does it work on?
iPhone, Android and any desktop browser. Installs to the home screen and runs offline once it's there.
Do I get future recipes?
Yes, on every plan. New recipe batches and new books appear in the app the day they're finished, for as long as your membership is active — and forever on Lifetime.
What if I don't like it?
30 days, money back. Email us and it's done — no forms, no argument.
